Here are some tips to make your travels easier:
- Check Flight Status
- Allow Extra Time
Due to the certain busy travel periods, remember to allow plenty of time when arriving at the airport, particularly if you are checking baggage at the ticket counter. It’s best to allow at least 90 minutes when arriving at the airport for your departure.
- Tag Every Bag
Make sure that all checked and carry-on bags are properly tagged with your contact information. Also, include ID tags inside each bag in the event the outside tag falls off. Please do not leave your bags unattended. Remember to check with your specific airline regarding checked baggage policies.
- Remember 3-1-1 for Carry-On Items
Liquids and gels must be in 3.4 ounce bottles or less; placed in a 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 quart-sized bag per passenger. For more information regarding liquids and gels, go to www.tsa.gov.
- Bring Photo ID
You must have your boarding pass and a photo ID to gain access through the Security Checkpoint to your departure gate.
- Limit Carry-Ons
Carry-ons are limited to one bag plus one personal item such as a laptop, purse, backpack, briefcase, or camera case. Place valuables and prescriptions in your carry-on bag.
- Leave Gifts Unwrapped
They may need to be opened for security inspection.
Place all undeveloped film and cameras with film in your carry-on bag. The screening equipment for checked baggage may damage undeveloped film. For a list of prohibited and permitted items go to www.tsa.gov.
- Ask for Help
If you have a question, please don’t hesitate to call the Airport Information Desk at 803-822-5000 or stop by the desk, which is located on the main level or departures level near the baggage claim escalators. Or, visit our website atwww.flycae.com for a variety of information.
