After a holding a successful spring event and having been recognized by The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce for Excellence in Diversity, Columbia Metropolitan Airport will host a second small, minority and women owned business meet and greet for the second time in 2012.$0 $0$0 $0 $0The fall event will take place on Thursday, October 25 at 4:30pm and 6:30pm in the Carolina Room at the airport terminal located at 3250 Airport Boulevard, West Columbia, SC 29170.$0 $0$0 $0 $0Unlike the spring program, the fall event will be divided into two sessions. $0 $0$0 $0 $0The 4:30pm session will focus on businesses that are or want to become a SCDOT Certified DBE. Speakers will provide information on how to obtain or retain SCDOT certification and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of being certified with the South Carolina Department of Transportation.$0 $0$0 $0 $0 The 6:30pm session will focus on non-certified small, minority and women owned businesses. Speakers at this session will provide information for businesses that are not SCDOT certified but still have an interest in doing business with the airport. $0 $0$0 $0 $0Participants may attend one or both sessions however registration is required for each.
